What is Acrylic Wallpaper?
Acrylic or Acrylic Coated Wallpapers are the analog of Vinyl Wallpapers. When we are talking about Acrylic Wallpapers we are talking about wallpaper with the paper base which is covered with acrylic. During the covering, acrylic is forming a 3D print on top of the wallpaper. They are breathable wallpapers during to our special "doting" method of acrylic application.
Good ventilation guarantees us a normalization of a microclimate. Acrylic Wallpapers eco-friendly friendly then Vinyl Wallpaper, but they are noticeably inferior to them in strength and durability since the thickness of foam layer is lower. In the case of acrylic once it is 0,05-0,08 inches when in the case with vinyl once it's going to be 0,11-0,16 inches.
In the case when you are thinking of covering this Wallpaper with the paint, you will need to know that the possible amount of coats will be lower than with the Vinyl Wallpaper. Acrylic Wallpapers are very breathable, which means you can use them in every room, doesn't matter how humid it is over there ( even in the bathroom). Also, you can clean them as often as you need. How to clean Acrylic Wallpaper?
Our advice is just to clean them with warm water and soft rug. That's enough since they are very easy to clean.
DO NOT RUB, SCRUB OR DO NOT APPLY PRESSURE WHEN YOU ARE CLEANING ACRYLIC WALLPAPER. DO NOT USE ANY OF THE ABRASIVE (SCRUB) SOLUTIONS OR SPONGES ON TOP OF ANY ACRYLIC WALLPAPER - IT CAN DAMAGE THEM
