Return Policy
If you would like to return your order, please contact us first by email at wallcoveringsmart@gmail.com.
Please, do not ship your order back without prior authorization—unauthorized returns cannot be accepted, refunded, or shipped back to you.
Eligibility for Returns
- We accept returns for all products, except the Arte brand.
- You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.
- After 30 days, returns and exchanges are not possible.
- Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition as received.
- Wallpaper samples are not returnable under any circumstances.
- Special order items (products not stocked in our warehouse, often with only one picture, from brands like York, Brewster, Wallquest, Thibaut, Seabrook, JF Fabric, Galerie etc.) are returnable with restocking fee 30%
If you are unsure whether your product is returnable, please call, text, or email us to confirm.
Restocking Fee
- A 0%–30% restocking fee applies to all approved returns.
- Refunds will be credited to your original payment method after inspection.
Defective or Damaged Merchandise
- Items with manufacturing defects will be replaced.
- If shipping damage occurs, we will help you file a claim with the carrier.
- No restocking fee or return shipping charges apply to defective or damaged merchandise.

Requirements:
- Quantities returned must match quantities authorized.
- You are responsible for return shipping costs.
- For items over $75, use a trackable service or purchase shipping insurance.
- We cannot guarantee receipt of returned items without tracking.
- Include a copy of your receipt or your order number in the return package.
Once your return is received and approved, we will issue a refund to your credit card within 7–10 business days.
Refunds
- Refunds are processed only if the returned wallpaper is in unused condition.
- Samples are never refundable.
- Only regular-priced items are eligible for return—sale items are final sale.
- Returns are accepted for all products except Arte brand.
Missing or Late Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund:
- Recheck your bank account.
- Contact your credit card company (posting delays are possible).
- Contact your bank, as processing times vary.

Backorders & Discontinued Items
On rare occasions, a manufacturer may place a wallpaper on backorder or discontinue it.
- If this happens, we will notify you immediately.
- Please avoid scheduling installation until your entire order has been delivered.
